Interaction between users and computers occurs at the user interface (or simply interface), which includes both software and hardware, for example, general-purpose computer peripherals and large-scale mechanical systems, such as aircraft and power plants. HCI used at various fields. First, There are people using HCI as tools. For example Vannevar bush made memex. Second, There are people using HCI as systems. For example Macintosh powerbook was made in 1991. Third, There are people using HCI as funding. For example Military: Navy, Air Force, ARPA, DARPA. Another simple example is using webcam.
